Neox by Eolo

Spanish based Eolo has made a couple of pretty decent stunt kites (along with some not so decent ones). The Over is probably the best known sport kites from the Spanish company.

However, the NEOX is also a kite to conscider, and here we'll take a closer look at it. (more)

Langøyene Kite Festival

The desicion of postponing the festival by one week was a good one!

Rather than rain and no wind conditions, the kite festival at Langøyene was blessed with glorious weather and good wind, especially in the afternoon when the sea breeze came in directly from the ocean.

The weather was supposed to be nice and no precipitation. Well, that was what was forecasted before I went to bed yesterday.

However, when I woke up this morning, I heard the annoying sound of raindrops on the window pane. Ahhhrg! Rain once again!

But I had a couple of kites to deliver, so I packed my kites, stuffed the bags into the car and headed for Oslo.

Kite Aerial Videography #2

Finally the wind picked up and the rain had stopped. It was time to grab the carrier kite, the rig, hop in the car and head for a suitable flying area.

After a fifteen minutes drive, I found myself on one of the local beaches ready to fly. The wind was a tad on the light side, but hey, I couldn't stop now! (more)

Could 13 be my lucky number?

It took me 12 rounds before I took part in the Virtual Freestyle competition. I don't know why it took me so long, but for round 13 I was ready to go.

Kite Aerial Videography #1

What a summer! :-( The rain has been pi**ing down day after day after day. Yesterday was horrendous with torrentual downpour and winds hitting the upper 20'ies. Meter per second that is.

So inspired (?) by the never ending rain I've just finished a kite rig for my tiny Samsung video camera. You have to do something when coped up inside! (more)
